Unlocking Potential: The JAGA Way Testing Unveiled
The Junior Asian Golf Academy (JAGA) held its pivotal JAGA Way Testing, a transformative event aimed at propelling our students towards golfing mastery.
Our approach goes beyond conventional training. The testing day assessed every facet of our students' game, from power and precision to finesse and strategy, using a comprehensive, data-driven grading system inspired by Judo's belt progression. This innovative system marks proficiency levels from beginner white belts to master black belts.
This event is just the beginning. With two more testing days scheduled, students will receive personalized training programs tailored to their strengths and areas for improvement. At JAGA, we are committed to helping each student thrive, from our academy greens to international fairways.
Nguyen Vu Hoang Anh "Chip" Shines at Saigon Junior Tour
We are thrilled to announce that Nguyen Vu Hoang Anh, or "Chip," won the girls division at the Saigon Junior Tour 3rd leg event this weekend.
Chip delivered impressive first and third rounds, scoring 75 and 72, respectively. Her success highlights the progress she has made since joining the Junior Asian Golf Academy (JAGA), where results like this are becoming more common.

JAGA Workshops: Enhancing Mental and Physical Golf Skills
Intuition vs Conditioning
Led by Head of School Dr. Cell Dilon, this workshop explored natural abilities versus learned skills. Dr. Dilon emphasized the balance between intuition and conditioning, focusing on building confidence and shot preparation. Students gained valuable insights into enhancing their mental game.
Club Fitting with Coach Pop
Coach Pop hosted a session on the benefits of properly fitted golf clubs. In his fitting shop, he explained the importance of loft, lie, and length. By comparing two students—one with fitted clubs and one without—he demonstrated the significant impact of correct club fitting. This introduction to ‘static’ fitting highlighted how custom clubs improve performance.
