Onto 2024…


And that’s it! We have wrapped up the first semester of the Junior Asian Golf Academy and the Junior Asian Sports Academy. We would like to say thank you to the parents to who believed in us and to the students who have done nothing but succeed since September. As we send everyone off for the winter break, we wanted to take a look at all the high’s we’ve been able to share as a community.


JAGA’s First Tournament Appearance

JAGA showed up to it’s tournament with a small team of five future students: Teerawut Boonseeor, Sean Yates, Kartik Singh, Ashlynn Choo and Aphivich Kaenchan. This was the first sign of things to come as the players dominated all weekend and walked away with a lot of hardware.


JASA Hosts it’s First College Showcase

JASA hosted a junior soccer showcase to show off some of the elite soccer talent in Thailand. Several players drew interest from NCAA coaches who watched remotely, marking JASA’s first tournament as a success.


JASA Hosts Tennis Showcase with Vast International Attention 

JASA Junior Tennis Tournament & College Showcase

JASA hosted a junior tennis tournament at Arena Hua Hin to showcase some of the best local talent to NCAA and U Sport coaches. Over 20 coaches from the US and Canada watched some exhilarating tennis via livestream and put JASA on the map internationally.

JAGA and JASA opened their doors the first week of September, marking a big step in the future of junior sports in Asia.


Team JAGA Starts With a Bang, Dominating the US Kids Tour

Black Mountain hosted many of the US Kids Tournaments this year, but the first stood out as we had 3 division winners (Louis Mahakan, Tantikorn Klinpeng, and Tran Nguyen Hai Nam) and many others in the top spots.


JASA Partners With Somtawin School

JASA strategically partnered with local primary school, Somtawin School, to help build the next generation of future athletes. Kira and Lev Grab were the first to enter the program in grades 2 and 4, respectively, as they build towards the dual (Thai-Canadian) High School diploma.


JAGA's Rising Stars Shine at Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship

Melbourne, Australia October 2023

Kartik Singh and Teerawut Boonseeor travelled to Australia to represent their national teams at the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship. The pair surpassed all expectations while there, including Kartik who became the youngest person to ever make the cut at this prestigious tournament.


JAGA Hosts First Tournament, Kicking-off Expansion

With plans of expansion for the 2024 school year, JAGA hosted a kick-off tournament to bring attention to the school. Oliver Mukherjee took home the championship trophy in his first tournament with JAGA.


Casey Kang Gets Exemption to US Kids International Championships 

November 2023

Casey Kang dominated the US Kids Thailand Tour all through the semester, doing so gives her the chance to play in the US Kids Championships in Europe and the US in 2024.


Nguyen Trong Hoang’s First Win December 2023

One of the best success stories from our first semester was Harry, a student from Vietnam. 

His work ethic off the course has led to on course success, Harry won the 5th leg of the Junior Asian Tour in December. Keep it up, Harry!


JAGA's Announces New International Events for 2024

JAGA has unveiled three new events for 2024, each look to provide our students with exciting new opportunities in some of our campuses for 2024. JAGA Coaching Summit @ Black Mountain - January 21-24 International WAGR Championship @ Al Ain, UAE - April 11-14 International WAGR Championship & College Showcase @ Montreal, Canada - June 24-27
